I have a clown in QT on day 2 and hasn't eaten frozen mysis or the new era small pellets. I have omega one first flake for my freshwater fish. Says it's good for use with marine fish too. Can I try it and use it as part of its regular feeding regime if I can get it eating multiple things?

This is what I'm talking about:
First Flakes | OmegaSea®

I've bought and tried to feed the frozen, but nothing for 2 days. he is swimming like the dickens though, rarely stays still long enough to get a good look at him. Getting worried that he hasn't got for anything. the pellets or the mysis. We'll see how tonight goes. 3 days without food and he is a little guy, maybe 1.5". He is constantly swimming laps though and isn't acting different, just not eating.

My 9 year old, extra large, Maroon Clown doesn't get flakes all the time, maybe twice a week, but it goes nuts for flakes -- loves them.

tried the flakes. Nothing. So I put a pellat, crushed pellets and some mySis. He at least tasted some this time. But spit most of it out. We are going on day 4 of quarentine tomorrow. (I left the food in for a while and I vacuumed it out)

Worried he has eaten yet. He just kim swimming laps very fast hours on end when the lights are on.

My perc clowns don't like mysis shrimp, I usually feed them Rod's, but will give them brine shrimp for a treat. They love brine shrimp. I have also heard if you soak some of the food in a liquid garlic, like garlic extreme, that can entice them to eat. I hope they start eating for you.

I'm going to head back to the Lfs and see if they have the garlic pellets. Nothing again tonight. took a nibble at a new Era small pellet on its way down But spit it back out. He chills in the corner when the lights are off but when they come on he's still very active. Doing thelaps and laps of the cute clumsy swim. So no change in activity. he is finding the food and sampling it. Just keeps spitting it out. Will he eventually get hungry enough to eat something or will he just starve to death? There has been no change in activity. Very spritEly for hours on end. I would think he would get lethargic or have some sort of weird behavior before he croaked right? I felt rude asking to see him fed so I didn't ask. I think I will for sure next time before I even leave the Lfs.

Garlic slow sinking pellets is the winner! Ate like crazy. Was sure not to over feed though. Sure happy he's eating now. few more weeks of qt and off he goes!

When you fed the frozen food, did you thaw it? IME not all fish like it while it's frozen, it's better to thaw it in a little tank water before providing it to the tank.

Once he is eating (and less stressed), it still would be worth getting him to switch to a higher quality frozen food.

That's the plan! I was told by the Lfs to thaw it in water and run it through one of my nets to collect just the shrimp pieces and duo those in the tank. Im really happy I decided to do the qt set up so now I can keep him in there and make sure I can get him eating a variety of food before I toss him in.
