First fish in the new tank

Set up a 40 gallon tank with live rock and sand. Could my first fish that's added after the cycle be a yellow head jawfish or should I let the tank mature longer?

wait much longer the aren't the easiest fish to keep. Start with a hardy fish.

Clownfish usually are fairly resistant as well as blue/green chromis. These are two of my favorite fish, they have good personality and are active swimmers.

I always start tanks with fresshwater black mollies. Algae eating machines, cheap, hardy in sw and easy to catch once the uglies are gone.
