Added yellow watchman goby pistol shrimp and a small blenny. lil later a couple snails. Today a bit of a ammonia spike. Under .025 but definitely not zero. Nitrite 0 nitrate somewhere between 0-10ppm. Maybe a snail dead somewhere ? Big water change ? Let it settle ?

That seems fairly normal. I would keep an eye out and if necessary do a water change.

Mine sounds like a machine gun at night!
I actually never hear him but he’s constantly shoveling stuff out. And their tunnel work is extensive already. I was nervous with Mr goby but he actually left the hole to eat today. :)

As a precaution I would get some prime in there ASAP to detox things until the ammonia breaks down.

Added just shy of a half a cap. Everything moving around lively and healthy looking still. No idea where the hermit is hiding though.
