Well if you're in Iowa I'll point you into the place I got them lol

Well, I believe I found the culprit.....
I have a camel shrimp that the LFS had assured me was reef safe. I found it ripping a tentacle off my poor xenia :(
After quite a bit of negotiation with my sons, (well at least my oldest - my middle son said he had to go right away), I was able to convince them to allow me to relocate the shrimp to the LFS tank.
On the upside, the guy at the LFS that sold me the shrimp was so taken aback, he discounted a coral for me. Unfortunately, they don't carry pulsing xenia...but I did score a beautiful duncan that I had been eyeing.
For now, I have the duncan and the xenia protected by an upside down breeder box.
Here are where the questions start:
Problem 1 - Any suggestions on catching the shrimp?
I tried the 2 liter soda bottle with mysis, but I think the opening was too small, and it never went in. It was, however curious.
Then I tried taking the top out and just standing ready with a net. I wasn't fast enough, and the shrimp stayed in hiding for 2 days solid.
I am now tring a glass carafe, but I think it's still spooked from the net and won't come out
Problem 2 - Any chance this xenia could recover?
I showed another pic to the guy in the store, and he was positive, but he was also positive the camel shrimp wouldn't bother corals.
