So I tested my water for Mg, calc, and kh when i received my test kit and my levels were all great from what i've read is the average
kh: 8 Mg: 1300 Ca: 450
So I went and got a couple beginner frags, the two frags I bought were a nice zoa colony and a green ricordea mushroom, have had them for about 5 hours, zoas are open and great the ricordea is still a little bunched up cause I tried gluing him to the side of some lr and that didn't work out so I stopped stressing him.. But here are some pictures and my main question is I got this little piece of xenia with my mushroom and if I can have it live why not, it is super tiny and unhealthy looking but I cant tell if its going to bounce back or I should just toss it, thanks for the help.

Just give it some time, at least a week! I've heard people rubber band them to get them to stick, but I've never tried myself.

Sounds good! Definitely was going to give it a few days even if it wasn't making it just to be sure but I woke up this morning and the little guy was all perked up not completely slumped, aswell I saw him close and open pretty quickly so i'm glad I got a tiny xenia frag for free.

Xenia are cool, but they can take over as well, so just keep an eye on them. Some people put faster growing corals on a rock that's separate from the other rocks, so you can remove it if it starts growing like crazy.

^^ what he said. xenia and gsp grows like weeds, try to keep it isolated to a loose piece of rock an away from everything else or eventually your going to have a full tank of xenia

Right! I know its capability i just put it on my big LR island cause it has more flow, and it seems to be liking that area a lot, its on a tiny rock i can move where ever so when it gets bigger I will definitely move it thanks for the help guys.
