I ran my first ICP test, results were pretty much on the same level as my Salifert and Hanna kits but ALU is way up and I have no idea where it came from. ATI checks the RO sample as well and nothing out of the ordinary. I do not use any GFO, the only filtration I am using is the Red Sea reef mat, carbon in a Geo reactor, Bio-Pellets in a Bashsea reactor and an Ice Cap UV. I use a Simplicity pump to feed all the reactors and UV. Main pump is an EcoTech L2.
Any insight would be appreciated!

Did you start with live rock? My initial thought was that maybe any used rock/substrate could have absorbed a little aluminium in the past.

I started with mostly dry rock, I added live rock from LFS, which was most likely Carib Sea rock and added some live Aussie rock when it was available. Substrate is Carib Sea reef sand. I don't see anything reacting negatively so I wonder if it a cause for concern.
