I've just disturbed a spikey round brown criter about 10mm diameter hiding under a coral. Unfortunately It's moved into a gap in my live rock so I can't take a photo at the moment. Anyone any idea what it might be?

Did you see it move? fast/slow? Does it have legs? Body shape?
Yes, it moved about the speed of a hermit crab, long hairs but almost round, hairy enough to look like it had fuzzy edges like algae growing on it but not

That's a really good resource page but nothing like it there. It's disappeared now so think I'll have to wait for a photo opportunity. Thanks for your help anyway.
You're welcome.
Stay vigilant and report back with visual ;)
Good luck

Google Spaghetti Worm.

Nope not the one, it was much more ball shaped
This is it!!! It's grown...

Looks like the tube feet of a starfish but they should be on the underside of the body. Looks like the tube feet are on it's back. Is it right side up?
