Hey friends, have our first kid on the way in a couple months and would love a realistic view of how well I’ll be able to maintain my reef. I have a 75g SPS tank with dosing and top off automated. I have an AWC system in place although it’s on hiatus with me trying to get ahead of bubble algae. That will obviously go back online when the baby comes. I have an auto feeder and supplement that with frozen once daily. I have a 32g RO reservoir I fill by manually opening a ball valve with a float valve for redundancy and a 32g mixed saltwater reservoir. I work full time.

Weekly maintenance is probably 2-3 hours total if I include manual water change, testing all parameters, cleaning skimmer cup, and filling 8g ATO reservoir. I have all my RO filters set on Apex reminders.

Am I well poised to handle the tornado of changes ahead?

@Keenan have any input?

First of all - congrats on new coming arrival.
You if needed CAN skip water changes and make it monthly OR schedule said maintenance on a given weekend day splitting it over 2-3 days
