Pyramids are tricky to keep, I have found. They can get what I'll call a 'skin condition' of translucent patches, and some scale flaking off. I wish you the nest with your remaining two. You have a nicely colored collection of fish

Thank you. I didn't notice the translucent patches or scales flaking off. They all have lympocytes on them though.

Hi there. Very nice looking tank. I also plan to someday move to a larger tank. My nano doesn’t allow as many fish options as I’d like. I feel that fish supplements the beauty of the corals and it makes it look more natural.

I would agree. I have a 37gallon upstairs and it is really limiting on fish selection. Clown pair, yellow watchman/pistol shrimp, lawnmower blenny, and a pair of skunk cleaner shrimp.

Just did a water change and a little more sand rinsing. Cyano was greatly reduced from previous week. Put some corals in their "forever" homes. My yellow coris wrasse passed today. He was not to healthy when I recieved him (eye injury). Long story short he stopped eating and got super skinny. Will be getting more wrasses in the future. Took some night photos with heavy blues.

Thanks. I had to rework it a couple of times to get it how I wanted. Not alot of fun with water in the tank.

WC friday. No issues to report. I believe I have my dose dialed in at 23ml a day for ESV b-ionic. Next week might add qt snails at 45days. Might wait a full 72.

Decided not to add the snails yet. Usual WC. Added 1/8cup of gfo to my carbon dropped my PO4 from 0.14 to 0.04ppm. Also cleaned my test cuvette with vinegar so not sure which caused the change. Moved a few corals around.

Nothing too crazy to report. Weekly wc and normal upkeep. Parameters are looking good. Having some trouble with my small acan colony. Moved a few corals around.

Again not much new to report. Rainbow incenerator zoa was closed up for a week so I moved it to a different tank to see if it will recover. I adjusted my pump positions to tweak my flow a bit and did my normal waterchange. Used my bucket vac to clean the sump.

Looks like tank is making progress. Our tanks are same age. Filled my 900XXL last November. Do you clean all coralline algae off? I have quite a bit on my back glass but I prefer to just let it go.

For the moment I scrape the back glass once a week. Once the corals start growing and it gets to difficult I will probably let it go. I've still got a good amount of coral to buy.

Thank you. Was well worth the money. So much easier than the jumpguard. Used to have to take the lights off everytime i wanted in the tank. Feed door is awesome too.
