Thanks for everyone that attended, we will be starting a new thread with details for our next meeting. We have some great plans in place to get this going. We hope to partner with other clubs in the area to help with awareness and education.
Some of the Ideas that were thrown around is sponsoring several classroom tanks. I personally feel this is feasible and will help bring awareness to the community.
We still have not resolved the naming issue, I am pretty sure F.A.R.T. is on the way out.
We are also looking at group buys for both Animals and supplies. If fundraising is successful we plan on having the club cover some costs (Shipping ).
We are tentatively hoping to host a table at the MASM event, selling frags to raise funds.
One last Idea that was throw around and got positive response was an attempt to avoid any dues for the first 6 months to year. We hope to gain membership, and once we show benefits, we can use dues as a part of fundraising.
I thank everyone that has come over. we plan on another meeting on Febuary 21st at 7:00. This is a Saturday, I hope this will drum up more traffic.
We will start another thread coving some of the details. I hope everyone can join us. We have a lot of great ideas and we plan to have fun with this.
