Okay I pulled a noob move months ago when my tank was only 3 months old and let a LFS sell me a semi bleached GBTA .. Played 30 for it.. Well it looked sad for 2 weeks when I finally got rid of it in fear of it dying and crashing my 20gal high tank..

My tank has been running since august 10th2014

I would love to try a nem again...

Currently I have 3 different sps , a Duncan, frog spawn, ZOA's ,and palys.

All growing like crazy..

Should I attempt a anemone again or wait.. If I can try it.. What's a good one? I don't particurally Care for BTA but I did hear they are the hardiest.. So opinions would be awesome

From what I was told by my LFS after my attempt to get one is that I should let my tank mature for close to a year before getting one. Whether or not that's true no sure, but I won't risk it.

What lights do you have?
Do you have a sandbed? If so, how deep?

For that sized tank, would stick with either another E. quadricolor or an H. malu. IMO/E, all the other hosting anemones will get too large for that tank.

Here is the most recent pic of my tank. My sand bed is probably only a inch deep. Only because when I had a hair algae and red algae issue I lost a lot of sand when I cleaned the tank so I added 5 lbs to it which isn't enough but I didn't want to do too much at once 5lbs was pushing it..

As for lights I have a led light just a cheap one and a t5 2 bulb.. With 1 24watt coralife Actinic and 1 24watt 10000k coralife white bulb..

If you can keep and grow sps successfully I would say you could definetly have a nem. A bubble tip would be the best.

My sps grow like crazy its just they don't have the right color cuz I was battling a nitrate issue .. But that's all good now
