Got the PS for the built in moonlights, I was pleased with them with the HQI on as it was noticable and gave an actinic look right under them, now that the lights are off.....

Too much for all night? These are way brighter than the current USA ones I used years ago on my 65 high, though deapth probably was big factor as well. I'm thinking I should put these on a timer in the very near future...opinions?

Normally the LEDs are for moonlights, and are not a problem all night. I have mine set to come on at 10pm and turn off at 6am. yours do look alittle brighter. but unless they were designed for actinic suplamenting i dont see a problem.

I'm gonna run em on a timer....most of the coarals stay open with em on, and very few critters venture out, so I'm just gonna treat em as actincs, the one on the front right is way way brighter than the rest and seems to light up the whole tank, when I change my HQI bulb in a few months gonna look into replacing all 4 LEDS with the bright onesand just run em on a timer. Thanks B.
