Gonzo's recent live sale was the first time I'd ever bought corals online.
1) The sale was so much fun! the anticipation of pressing F5 repeatedly to see when new corals would post and would I be first was stressful but in the fun way. I won 6 great frags!
2) Packaging was done really well. As a teacher, I can't just leave school to get packages (though I was tempted) and had the box held for pick up so it wouldn't get too cold sitting on my front porch all day. Corals frags were in plastic cups for protection, individually bagged in water, then group bagged and placed in 3/4 in styrofoam with newspaper padding. A heat pack kept them warm...by the time I got it the pack was just barely warm to the touch but it was about 7 hours after delivery.
3) Gonzo included a surprise bonus frag of Blue Spinners!
4) After acclimation, all 7 frags were opened within an hour and looking great! (Duncan, several Zs & Ps, frogspawn, sympodium).
I am very pleased with the quality of the frags and the care taken in packaging. I'm sure I'll be a repeat customer when $$ allows.
