believe it or not I've never photographed my tanks for others to see.i'm old and old school.i still have a flip phone.for those who don't know what that is.it's a phone that opens up has a 1 1/2 inch screen and gets made fun of on a regular basis.being bored tonight I pulled out the old flip phone and snapped a pic of my 54 corner just to see what it looks like on the big screen.
I've had this tank up and running for 10 years.it has 20+ fish and inverts with lots of various corals.this tank has no skimmer no reactors and no new technology.i'm not sure my phone would connect to an apex.it's just a sump and a aquamedic 250w hqi with 2 t5 actinics.for what it does or doesn't have it does very well.i do have a sps dominated 200 gal that I will share in the near future if this post works out when I hit the create thread button.
for you newbees this tank shows you don't have to spend a fortune or have all the latest technology to be successful,it does show that a smart phone would probably take better pictures if I had one.

Nice tank! I count 15 fish. I'm assuming there are more? I have a 75 gal, and a 29gal sump that's probably holding 25 gals or so. I think having a good supply of fish keeps the corals happy. So I'll have at least 16 fish...

Nice! Tank looking great! So, what is the secret to your success without all the bells and whistles?

a few things.it has hqi's and t5's which I think the corals really love.i do weekly water changes probably 20%.it's loaded with fish that get fed 4 times a day so they are the only thing that feeds the coral.i use aquaforest component 1-2-3 and that's what I think makes the biggest difference.it truly is a miracle product.it is like a highlighter for corals imo.if you have not tried this product I highly recommend it. last but not least I ignore it and keep my hands out of it.probably have not gotten them wet in a month. so I have a 200 with all the bells and whistles that does grow sps much faster, however it has led's so go figure.in the end i'm just lucky being so lazy with it.i'll post more pics soon sense I justgot a smart phone 2 days ago.yep I stepped out of the stone age.i think I had pics of live dinosaurs on the old flip phone.thanks for the nice comments.
