Wow nice tank! Interesting approach with the rock but it looks aesthetically pleasing at least to me lol. Welcome to the R2R family

Heh :) Just using stuff I already had. There will be a lot more room in there when I get the original 10 gal going. Not meant to be aesthetic yet. :)

Is that a router next to your tank? If so, I would move it as it will weaken and interfere with your signal . Nice set up.
Is this a concern? My router is about >10 feet away from my tank.

sorry to be offtopic. Welcome! Definitely check out Austin Aqua Farms, one of my favorite stores to get corals from!

Possibly. I keep mine 6 feet from my tank, but it’s an Orbi mesh router that is backhauled (hardwired to other satellite routers throughout the house). If it was my only router, then I’d preform a speed test in various locations to compare.

OK not much of an update :grinning-face-with-sweat: but here it is anyway...pulled the cycle rock today. What's left is the 32 pounder, and a couple of small ones (marked by the arrows.)

Next up: what's a good source for some colorful macroalgae?

Any recommendations on fish additions? Thinking of a tank-raised orchid dottyback.

Prefer to keep the tank understocked, low bio load. As I wrote above, the only equipment in this tank is a heater and a Tunze pump.
