Hey there! Been reading things here for a while now when I need answers to something. Seems like a very useful forum. Husband and I started our tank almost a year ago (that flew by!) Got a great deal on a set-up and then let it sit forever before we finally just said "Let's just do it." We recently decided that we have done enough research to start with some of the easier corals. Started with a little zoa colony and just added a green leather yesterday. All seems well so far, but I probably jinxed it by saying so.

Looking forward to reading the threads and learning more!

Please share some pictures with us, we go crazy for pictures ;)

First, I love the Tomatoa profile pic! I've taken to calling our meanest scarlet by that since he seems to be a bit of a meanie. :)

I haven't taken any pics in a bit. Need to do some new ones. And apparently I'm awful at coral pics. But, this is our new baby Mandarin. It's growing quickly and thankfully our scooter has done well with it. And I know, black sand. I hear good, great, bad, and bad bad. ;Woot

OkWell so far I see Tomatoa and a cat. This place is alright in my book. I don't have a lot of good pics. Apparently I'm not that great at tank photography. Using it as an excuse for a new phone. ;Woot

I did manage a half decent one of our new little Mandarin. Haven't been able to get a good one of the corals.

Ahhh, well apparently I need to read more about posting pictures too. Haha!

The pic still did not come through. For uploading pics simply push the box that says "upload a file" at the bottom of the text box next to the "post reply" box. It will then give you the option to take a photo or select from your phone photo library. Pic the photo you want and click "done". It will upload to your reply and you can insert it where you want it in the reply by placing the curser where you like and clicking the "full image" box that is next to the uploaded file. Once finished click on the post reply box and it will be there.
