Hi, new to this forum, um, I'm from Melbourne Fl, iv been reefing for 10 years, mostly nano and pico tanks I currently have a 20 long that I'm down sizing to a ten or five gal here soon, and I'm going to start collecting high end zoa,s and sps. I was referred to this site by a fellow reefer. I love pioneering new techniques, diy and led lighting do any input on that is welcomed

First question does anyone know a place to buy cree LEDs for a better price than rapid or ledgroupbuy? I'm looking for 10k Cree LEDs as well
Has Anyone here made a led light with aluminum plates as heat sinks? I'm going for a thin led fixture look..

Definitely toomnymods! I resently upgraded my lfs lighting to all LEDs the owner says he rarely runs the ac now, befor with halides he had to run it 24/7
