Hello,

I am looking to get my first Reef Aquariam and maybe a couple clown fishes.

I want a really nice caribsea rock with bright neon reefs. I really like the Green Flourescent Mushroom, sea anemones, etc.,

https://waterboxaquariums.com/products/peninsula-mini I really like this 25 mini - with the lights.

Located in Seattle, but no where to start. Was going to go to PET - CO but was recommended NOT too.

Welcome to R2R!

The Waterbox 25 with an AI saltwater light is really nice. Good choice there. Anemone are an advanced animal so you'll want to wait on that one until at least 6-8 months until you get familiar with the hobby. Mushrooms are another great choice though. Petco probably isn't the best place to buy animals, but you can get hermit crabs and snails from them. Those are OK. Their CaribSea Aragonite Aquarium Sand, 10 lbs. for $5.40 is a very good deal. Bulk Reef Supply is a good place to order equipment.

The key is not to move fast. Research everything before you buy it. This can be a very rewarding hobby if you are a patient or a big waste of time and money if you rush.

Great, thank you so much! I believe there is local areas I can check out to get reefs from as well. I am in Seattle after all, haha. I'll probably start off with 2 clown fishes or maybe 3 and some beginner reefs with a nice Caribsea rock!
