I am during an experiment on the coral-algal symbiotic relationship. I will be using Green Star Polyps as the coral sample and cultured Zooxanthellae as the algae sample. I am fairly new to dealing with coral and would love if anyone had recommendations in tanks, flow, where to obtain the salty-water, lightening, etc. Anything would be useful. Good nutrients / medium to low flow and medium to low lighting.
I'd buy an RO/DI unit with an built in TDS meter and mix your own salt.
T5 lighting should do the job and a 40 - 0r bigger tank would do the job.
Others can sure add into the conversation.

Any recommendations for a RO/DI unit and TDS meter, like a brand perhaps. Same with the lightening. I wouldn't wanna spend a lot of money of crap yanno. Thanks for the info tho!!!GSP=
