Hope everyone had a good Halloween. Came home today and the tank looked awesome! Moved my Duncan back towards the center and he opened up a lot!thought Duncan’s were low light should I put him high in the rock work? My golden mushroom got pushed in between a rock but really expanded so I’m going to leave him there.

Cleaned all 5 fish tanks today.
Scary moment found a aipista annenome tonight. Thought it was in the main rock work. Luckily only on my leather frag plug. Quickly plucked the plug out cut the larger off the plug then tossed the plug out. Hoping that it was only the one aipista and I caught it but doubt it.

So after two months of no issues ran into my first major issue.
Starting to get aptasia, trying to figure out my next move to deal with it. My leather and torch seem to be suffering.
Everything else seems alright so far though.
And on a positive note I finally ordered my high fin banded goby and pistol shrimp today. Should be in Thursday! Got both for like $20 from @FishyBusinessAq

Picked up a peppermint shrimp to deal with my aipstisa issue hopefully. I think it kills my cleaner shrimp dream but is what it is.
Also so an awesome Yuma in the store I picked up too!

Hope he eats the aptasia. We have 2 tanks and each has a peppermint shrimp but only 1 are the aptasia.

Seems like my peppermint shrimp did some damage to the aipstasia, the most noticeable one is missing so hopefully he keeps working.
My hi-fin banded goby and banded pistol shrimp came in!! So tiny!

I have the SAME exact pair. Heads up the pistol shrimp can get in the sump in the back. ive had to rescue it multiple times

Thanks for the heads up I’ll keep my eyes open.

I drip acclimated them together, and I was happy within an hour they found each other in the tank and were already doing their thing. My shrimp started buttoning right away

Feel so anxious on what to buy with all the Black Friday sales! Didn’t find any new corals this weekend even though I had extra cash, and no luck in the live auction.
But I did pull the trigger and I got the new Nuvo skimmer, with the DC pump. Also got a Hannah checker for alkalinity on sale from marine depot.
Still thinking about possible getting a rodi unit while they’re on sale too.
Tank is doing good minus my torch coral and I can’t figure out why. All my other corals look amazing right now.
And my pistol shrimp and hi-fin goby are my new favorite fish!! Love watching them.
