I'm finally getting coral! I have had a 55 gallon saltwater FOWLR tank since April, but I just got my lights!!! I'm thinking Pom Pom xenia, long tip anemone, and some green star pollyps!

I'm finally getting coral! I have had a 55 gallon saltwater FOWLR tank since April, but I just got my lights!!! I'm thinking Pom Pom xenia, long tip anemone, and some green star pollyps!

Just be careful as the xenia and gsp can overrun a tank relatively quickly. Best advice is to put them on a piece of rock you can isolate from the rest of your rockwork and as far as the amenome, they generally need a matured tank to live in, which is a tank that's been up and running and stable for 8 months to a year. Reason being is they're sensitive to parameter swings that new or maturing tanks generally go through. But good luck, and be sure to share lots of pictures with us. We like pictures
