First reef tank

Not having much luck here…staring to wonder if I’m speaking Chinese lol

I’ll try again-
I’m now looking at lighting for my two cube tanks.
Though I’m starting with FOWLR (pertaining to my last unanswered question) I’ll eventually be slowly adding coral.

I hate the blue glow or “tank filled with windex” look.

In considering the blade “glow or grow”
anyone know which produces more white (less blue/violet) light?

Perhaps they are not the right lights at all?

I’m not trying to kill coral but don’t need it to “grow like weeds” either.

I have an AI Prime 16HD on my 24 gallon cube (18 × 18 × 18) I think it's a decent light for my current needs. It has multi channel color spectrum, so I can adjust individually to meet my needs and preferences. I only have soft corals, but everything seems to be doing well.

Finally acquired my two cube tanks (24x24x24 and 30x30x27h)
I’d like to start a build thread at this point

Any advice or direction as to what part of the form or where to start that?

Not sure what questions you want answered but it will be best to make a post in each subsection of the forum for each question. For example, "Lighting options for 60 gallon cube?" in the lighting section. For that you should also include budget and what you are hoping to accomplish (types of corals, look lof light outside and inside of tank, etc.

I use an orphek icon compact on one tank and it works great and is very white at 100% on all channels. I actually added blue led bars to add some more pop and get better light spread in the whole tank

Thanks.

No real questions now- , jexcept ust want to know where what section of the form to start a build thread. (to post pictures of my progress from mounting the cubes and building the filter and plumbing and everything else)

I guess just start a new post anywhere?
