First Reef Tank

55g tank with a 20g long sump. Jebao DC return pump. Bubble max curve 5 protein skimmer. I have had this tank for about 14 years and have previously run it as a saltwater fish only and also used it for fresh water.
First fish are 2 Darwin clownfish and cycling using Brightwell Aquatics Microbactet start XLM

Typically the tank cycles, then you add fish. You may want to consider adding nothing else for at least 4 weeks
You will have chemical swings, alk spikes and other events during cycle process.
