First rockscape Please Judge!

I must use the word AWFUL.
I think there is an awful lot of holes for frags and plugs and this will look real nice when filled with frags of zoa, hammer, etc
Had you concerned, huh. . .LOL. Nice choice of rock

Ooh, that’s even better! You could also try to make a bridge between the two base rocks in the middle. So that there isn’t any confusion, this is where I am suggesting a bridge.

Edit: there should be plenty of room for a plate coral in the front right corner still.

Do you mean coming forward from the back or along the back wall? Not home now so will fiddle some more tonight.

Happy thanksgiving everyone!

I think I might be the only person on this forum who doesn't like arches...lol

i would rather have over hangs and more open places but in the small tank arches are nice lol

also don’t think I mentioned it here but tank is a Nuvo Fusion 20G 24”x15”x13” total

I like both - for different reasons - I guess I like the first the best (it looks more 'natural to me'. I like the look of the arches in the second - and I like the minimalist view of both. As to the hiding - with the fish you're planning to stock - there are plenty of hiding places (to me) - now if you decide to add more - thats another issue. My clown pair (in general) - hid in their anemone as compared to the 'rocks'. When there was no anemone - they 'hid' in the even closed GSP - Good luck with the tank

Sweet ideas, just some suggestions.. depending on what coral you are planning you many want to leave some rocks not touching for stuff that spreads too easily it will make maintenance easier. As others mentioned a lot of fish like nooks and crannies to sleep in so you do want some space for that. You mentioned clown fish, will you have a nem for them? If it's a rock dwelling type assume it will plant it's foot under the highest arch or cave area and extend it's oral disk up to the highest point (that's a usual position) claiming the area around as territory. A sand dwelling nem will plant in an open cove area on the sand bed where the rocks meet the sand. If your planning any sand sifter type creatures (certain gobies, shrimp, starfish) I'd recommend fixing the rocks in place by cement, drilling, etc as a rock slide is horrible. Last id recommend taking all the rocks no matter how you scape them and drilling some frag plug holes, a cheap hammer drill will do the job well and you'll be very happy their there later, it's one of the things I did and it's so wonderful I wish I drilled more.

So I’m sitting at home on Black Friday playing with rocks again....

Another new scape I like which basically just has the right arch raised. Made the island much smaller as I want some sand room for corals.
