Hi!!
So I started a new saltwater tank (my first one ever!) and I just wanted to shout that it is an amazing success! I added 5 blue/green chromis and two turbo snails last night. And this morning I came out to check on everyone and found out I have two hitch hikers! I found some coral sprouting up and a starfish! Yay!
I'm am in search of a ATO. I found this one..and thoughts? I have a 15g tall tank.

Cool! It's always fun to see "GOOD" things that come as hitch hikers. That is a pretty good ATO.

asterinas are good leave them in the tank they'll eat any waste and poop laying around. if your corals are dying sure they'll go scavenging but you have bigger issues...they are gooD!

Looks like your off to a good start but five fish in a tank that size is pushing the limit.
They are just tester fish...get a good bio load going type thing. I didn't want to spend $60 on a show fish just for it to die and the guy at my LFS knows me and he said I can trade these fish out when I'm ready for a more advanced fish lol

Adding 5 fish at once is not a good idea though... especially with no other fish in the tank. There is not really bacteria to support their bioload yet to process the ammonia. Go slow. A $10 chromis life is just as valuable as a $60 wrasse life.

When I started the tank I dropped a piece of turkey in the tank to build up the ammonia. It spiked then came back down and the turkey was gone so I'm assuming the live rock & sand is doing its job pretty well?
