I purchased a red sea max c250 about 2 weeks ago. I have set it up buying live rock and sand from a local fish store. I have checked the water balance a few times over the last 2 weeks and everything has been good so far...no spike in ammonia or nitrates. Over the last few day I have noticed that the live white sand is turning a yellowish color. Should I do something about this? invertabrets, bottom feeders? or should I wait it out until after the ammonia spike and add fish? Sorry for the dumb question, but I'm a newbie and am trying not to make huge mistakes.
