First saltwater tank

Just bought my first saltwater tank. 180 gallon with two pairs of pressure drilled sump holes. Does that mean I run two separate sumps or run the both to the same sump

Or one as drain and one as return ..!

First off welcome to R2R!! If there are only 2 holes than one is a drain, usually the larger of the two. The smaller one will be the return line.

No there's four holes. Two separate pairs on each side of the tank.

Ok so 2 will be overflows and 2 will be returns. When you plumb it just tie the 2 returns together and you will be good. Only one sump needed.

no one return pump just need a Y connection too join the two returns !
