I ll start off by saying I have always wanted a saltwater tank. Since I was 7 years old it was my dream to get one. For the past 12 years I have tried to emulate the saltwater tank with fresh water tanks and turtle tanks- but never satisfied my dream for a real saltwater. The price was always too high and I was nervous to try it out.
However, lucky for my my local fish store put on sale the equipment to get a saltwater tank up and running. Spending 400 dollars I got everything I needed, a pair set of clowns and some frags of coral. A 15 gallon tank, it has been perfect for moving back and forth between college. For the last 2 moths I have built my tank up and extremely happy with the results of it now. The water quality is great and even though its only a 15 gallon, I haven't had any problems. Recently I purchased an egg crate to accommodate my growing coral population. Thank You to everyone on the site who has helped me. Below are some pictures of my tank now. I look forward to continuing to interact with the community and continue to grow my collection.
