Welcome to Reef2Reef!

Now I have to go check out your build thread.

hi welcome to the reef going to love it here!!
lots of fun/info/fun/help/fun....

Excited to start my reefing adventure. Started a build thread - would love the follow and input!

I have a few hitchhikers in my tank, two brittle stars and one that I'm not entirely sure I know what it is. I found it in the bucket with the live rocks, and placed it on a piece of live rock, but it has since moved to a crevice to hide. Looks like a toadstool polyp maybe? i just didn't know they would move like that! Take a look? love to know what you think it is and what to do with it.

Welcome to R2R and the salty world. Lots of knowledgable and helpful people here who will support and advise you when needed.

Welcome to R2R! Looking forward to seeing where you land with the tank! You're already learning a quick lesson in checking for hitchhikers... Just make sure to inspect all the things you put in your tank :)

Yea - I have read so much about starting slow, Qt'ing , curing rock and all. I figured when i started i would be really slow and go thru whole cycling process and making sure i only introduce new components as i have made sure they were free of anything i didn't expect. What i didn't expect is that the first thing i bought would have been a tank thats been running for quite a while... but here we are. Whatever came with it, came with it

Learn from the experience i guess!
