First salwater tank

Since it looks like it has dimmers it shouldn't be 'too much' as you can keep the light dimmed down to what you find appropriate.

Is this creature a Stomatella sp. juvenile?

Someone told me to use MB7 but i couldnt find it, instead im using nutrafin cycle. A sales man from petco told me to use it.

Read a review on that stuff. Some folks said it caused a quick spike that lasted a couple of days, but after that it was good!I would suggest not trying to speed things up to much! The most important thing in this hobby is patience!

I did some test on my tank, every thing is running good exept for PH!!
It was 7.8
Can can i do or add to raise it??

I havent had a problem with bristle worms, or asternia stars. Not sure what the other thing is but I don't think its a Stomatella. Stomatellas usually have a half shell over the top. Perhaps some kind of Nudi. Patience is the key. You might want to look into a ATO (auto top off). 10 gal is pretty small so stability is going to be your key going forward.

For ph buffer I use "marine buffer" made by seachem. It won't let you go above 8.3 I add it to my tank once a week when I top off.

Buffer is fine if your alk is low. But your low ph could be due to excess co2. This happens in sealed houses a lot. I have this problem because I live in south Florida and we run the a/c all the time. My ph is always 7.8-8.0. You don't want to raise the alk too high to bring up the ph. That will cause other problems. Also, the marine buffer, which I have, may only raise ph temporarily. If your alk is within normal limits, I wouldn't worry about the low ph. You can raise ph with a co2 scrubber, which strips co2 from the air going into your skimmer. I don't have one because my tank is stable but others do. Chasing ph with buffer is common, but be careful to not go overboard. Remember, stability is key. Good luck!

Thanks guys for the advices. @glb just yesterday night i was reading a good article about how ph is related to other things like alk and closed windows, etc. i really appreciated your comments!!

No problem! I'm still on a steep learning curve too!
