Soooooo this is my first mushroom. I was told I is leopard discosoma mushroom. Can anymore confirm this? Also is this normal for it to be laying on the substrate I do have it half way In a Shaded area. I feel like it’s trying to run from the light. Tank parameters as follow

ph 8.2
Temp 77.8
Salinity 1.025
Mag 1230
Alk 9.3
Po4 0.06
Nitrate 0

Tank almost 2 years old now.

I’m no expert but your nitrate seems low mine is only 4-5 months but my nitrates stay around 5-10 and I believe corals need a little nitrate, someone confirm this lol. But as far as mushrooms go I’m not sure of the correct name for this but the laying on the substrate is fine as far as I know! I have a ricordea and a Aussie Deadpool Mushroom and they both move around the plug they’re on a lot. Doesn’t necessarily mean they’re unhappy! If the mushroom is attached to something then them touching sub is fine! Hope this helps
