Without any more details I guess the best answer I can give is add saltwater and turn on pumps.

You posted about a year ago about a fish in a tank you had, so I assume this isn’t your first tank. Is your question about how it works with a sump and overflow, If so the answer will depend on what type of overflow you’re using.

The simple answer is
- fill with salt water and make Sure nothing leaks
- Add All of your rocks and sand.
- fill from the display and let it run through the system filling the sump this will be your maximum fill level . anything above this will cause a flood in the event of a power outage .

- turn on the pumps and let it run .
- add a ammonia source and let it sit running for a few weeks to cycle .
this will also give you plenty of time to research .
a great place to start is the new to saltwater section of r2r
Brs has many videos for each topic from starting a aquarium to more advanced topics such as dosing , testing , lighting etc
