First off, starting my first thread here.

I currently have a fluval evo 13, which was my first saltwater tank. I've had it almost two years and looking to upgrade. I created a list below of tanks I am looking at and wanted to get peoples opinions.

Also I've head great things about Planet aquariums but can't find anyone talking about the OceanVue line of tanks they have (which seem to be more budget friendly)

All opinions are helpful.

Thanks!

I would do the waterbox frag 85.3 or the 65 gal planet aquariums, not sure what premium version is on that brand.

I love my Reefer 250. It's very well built, has a good amount of space under it, and looks very nice. It's definitely the center piece of my living room.

FYI red sea is launching the reefer xl 300. Its basically the 250 but upgraded stand and a few inches wider... another option to consider for you!

Did you ever decide on a tank? Im in the same boat... i was settled on the frag 85.3 but now they raised the price...

yea, i was looking at the 105 but with the price increase the planet is a way better choice, i do not like those sumps

This tank looks like a solid option for me. Still Planet built and pretty good dimensions for a 3 foot tank. Listed at 560$ without shipping. I could add a Eshopps overflow and whatever sump i want and save a ton of money...

I had an aquamaxx those dimensions that I drilled and put a modular marine overflow on, in my build thread. Great dimensions to work with in the size range, planet makes good stuff, and theyre made here in Texas, alot of these other tanks are made overseas.
