First time adding Vita-Chem.

So I just added vita-chem for the 1st time. Added 2.5 teaspoons for about 120 gallon volume. I had my return pump and skimmer off since I was feeding at the same time. After turning both back on 1 of my durso drains are surging, and the whole drain setup into the sump is twice as loud as usual. Anyone else have this issue after using it?

In case anyone stumbles across this later, I guess it's normal. Skimmer isn't back to normal yet as I expected, but about 3 hours later and the drain is quiet again and not surging.
