Good news indeed.

So you have been through all your aquarium side equipment and think this is getting through RODI? I mean I am anal and run a 7 stage myself, but aren't the odds more likely on the downstream side of the RODI?

I'm 100% confident at this point it was my RODI, my house is 100 years old and all the pipe is gold galvanized steel pipes.

BTW I just liked this comment which officially pushed your reaction score to.....

Hi, glad to hear you sorted this out. Would like to know which product helped. Was it the Purit, Cuprasorb, or poly filter that helped this work?

I have no idea, I'm currently running all of them, growth is coming back on the acros that are not showing STN, the ones that do have STN I am going to have to frag as it looks like the death won't stop.

This homewrecker frag seems to have made it through and is coming back. It's crazy to me that I have a frag that looks like this:

Meanwhile, the colony is sitting 5 inches away, perfectly happy, looking like this:

Glad to hear you tackled the issue. Metals in the water will hurt SPS 100%. SPS has delayed reaction to it. But when it hits it really hits hard. I had an ICP test done and my Tin was at 24ppm which is very high.
No signs of rust anywhere. Changed rodi filters and Di resin in particular and threw in a metasorb bag. Also picked up some flatworm stop to rule out acro eating flatworms and now my tank is happy and back on track.

Good luck with everything!

Any reason not to run metasorb constantly? This sounds like a terrible thing to go through and I'd imagine that keeping it in place in perpetuity would help keep levels at zero.

Yes you can run it for as long as you want. Just make sure to rinse it out every 10 days or so with rodi water then put it back in your sump or where ever you choose.
