What is a good placement for them how long should I acclimate them and do they filter feed or do I need to feed them something for them to grow healthy ? PS any other information would be nice thank you.

Hammers are easy, moderate indirect flow and light. Best placement would be in a middle corner. You can feed mysis shrimp or ground up fish food made into a paste watered down with tank water. Use a small bulb baster to target feed. Very small amounts 1/2 teaspoon every three days. Feeding is not necessary but helpful in nutrients and growth. Acclimate 30 mins should be fine introducing tank water on a slow moderate drip while you temperature acclimate in the tank.

For me my hammers have been very easy. 1 i started in the sand and slowly moved to the top of my tank. The other I just left on the sand. They are both doing well and have gone a lot. 40b with ati fixture.
