As for corals I would wait 3 months before adding LPS. 6 months for SPS.

With the basic test strips everything looks good I think it's mistakes are more lethal in salt then fresh and having no one close to compare or share is a problem no matter how much I read I'm a hands on person

I think you probably didn't cycle your tank long enough. May not have been ready for livestock.

I also had the first light break which was a 2 bulb t5 actinic and it took longer then it should to get the ,165watt led
