So I have a chalice that I've been able to keep alive for awhile now and a piece of green platygyra. A few days ago I got my first acros and zoas in the mail.. I think I have screwed up in acclimating them, I didn't turn my lighting down when I added them and it was a good 3 days before I realized what I had done.. they're now on a reef rack on the bottom of my tank with the lighting on 0-5% and it runs from 9am and then shuts off at 3pm. Any ideas on what I can do to save them? or any suggestions at all? I also dose reef roids once a week! oh and I have 3 AI Hydra 26 HDs for the 180G tank.

3 days is fine. I don't even turn the lights down in my tank. They go to the bottom corner (gets least light) and I move them slowly, over a few weeks, to the location I want them. If they start to bleach I move them down a bit. Acros will sometimes loose their color then regain it, and often go to a different color or shade, when they go into a new tank. Sometimes it's hard to tell between fading and bleaching (for me, anyway). Your frags look fine though [emoji5] Welcome to Acros!

Okay cool, I just got super worried I had shocked them and they instantly died

Ditto.... they look fine. I usually place mine on a rack or in the sand at the bottom of the tank and let them acclimate slowly. Good luck!

Just a side note but if a coral bleaches not all is lost. I've accidentally bleached 90% of a coral and it recovered. Don't underestimate them or yourself
