Hey guys!
I got my first online corals today from Ebay. I got a torch, and two acans. I'm concerned about the acan (its my first pair of acans) that i sent a close up of. Those with experience, do you think that it can make a recovery although its skeleton is showing?

Any advice would be awesome!

For sure. Give it time. Feed it once it looks a little better and has feeder tentacles out, usually at night.

Hard to tell from the pics but it looks like a normal frag to me.
Sorry, I'll try to get a better one. If you zoom on the farther shot it looks more obvious

That makes me feel better. The rest of it looks healthy, its just that spot! I'll give it some reef roids once its more comfortable in my tank!

Mysis is more beneficial to acan health and growth in my experience. Reef roids is a good way to get the feeder tentacles to come out to feed the mysis though!

Perfect, I have a bunch of mysis my clowns reduse to eat after feeding brine/spirulina mix lol

Those are nice looking corals! I bet they will be fine...my acans like to send out their feeder tentacles early in the mornings. When you see them out, give them a little food and they will spruce up. You'll probably want to spot feed them a couple times a week.

Thanks! I'll keep an eye out for when its feeding tentacles open up!
