There was one major problem.....I was shorted one trochus snail. I received 29 instead of 30. I am so mad....lol. Totally joking about being upset.
In all seriousness this was my first order from unique besides triton testing and I have to say, I'm totally impressed. The order was tiny, but for only 15 dollar shipping in California, I don't feel the need to have to load up on items to make shipping worth my while. My order consisted of 30 of the captive raised trochus snails and a piece of the UC SSC.
The communication was exceptional. I sent an email wanting to add the coral to my order and I received a call from Scott the next day. They were prompt and extremely courteous. Packaging, was again, excellent with styro and a small ice pack. The frag and snails were triple bagged and then wrapped all together in a large bag.
The snails were lively and were crawling around and feeding immediately following acclimation. The frag was gorgeous. Fully encrusted and beefy. This was one of the cleanest corals I have ever dipped. I saw no sign of any pests and I was so impressed that I even left the plug and frag intact. I usually cut the frag off and glue to a new plug, but the dip was so clean, and the coral was so healthy looking, that I went ahead and kept it intact with all the encrustation. Hopefully it doesn't bite me in the behind, but I really am not concerned.
Thanks again Scott, and everyone @uniquecorals !
