Hello all.
I picked up my first frag yesterday, split zoas and shrooms. I have a few questions!
I dipped them using revive for 7 minutes blasting them for a good portion of it. My plan is to let them sit in QT for a couple-3 days and dip them again before placing them in the DT. I'm sure it's overkill, but better than under. The display tank has an aqueon stock, incandescent bulb hood on it.
1)Not the lighting these guys need, but is it enough for a few days or am I doing more harm than good?
2)I planned on cutting them off of the plug, should I do that right away or make sure they like their place in the DT before glueing them to my rock?
3) I bought a YWG with them, and they are sharing the QT. It occurred to me today that this wasn't the best idea, if the goby did turn out to have a parasite the frag may carry it over. I don't have an extensive knowledge of fish ailments, but I am familiar with the life cycle of ich, and I think odds are slim that I brought the free swimming stage into my QT. Thoughts?
4) Any other tips, comments, and/or personal procedures welcome and appreciated!
