Any specific instructions or methods to use in my tank?? I bagged a small amount as described in the "amount per gallon" and stuck in the the back of my Redsea max 130d . Gets plenty of flow . That's all there is too it yes? And how often should I change it out ?

It works best when water's forced through it, you want the bag tight so it can't tumble around, otherwise it might break apart into dust which isn't good. Usually good for about 3 months, but it's obviously depending on how much phosphates are in the water to bind to it. It sounds like you're on the right track to me, mark your calendar for 3 months from now and you should be good to go. If there's no prefilter before it and it starts to collect detritus you can rinse it out in waste water during a water change to remove any accumulated detritus.

Yep, it's packed tight and wedged in a slot with lots of flow! Thanks for the timeframe and info

It's smarter to pick yourself up a hanna phosphate checker and use that to determine when to change it. Shoot to keep your PO4 between 0.03-0.08 ppm. If it creeps above 0.08, replace the media, otherwise leave it. You may be surprised. You may end up needing way more media than you think, or it may end up lasting you alot longer than you expect and it can save you from buying too much/too little
