I cannot answer your question about CP with the Wrasse BUT...unless a fish I have is showing immediate signs of Ich or worse yet Velvet or any other of the horrible things fish are being shipped with these days. First thing I do is freshwater dip looking for flukes, and then get them settled in and in a nice eating state. Then I do Prazi or General cure, usually 2 rounds with a couple days of rest in between. Once that is finished up and water is back to a no added "medicine state" I do an observation period before doing any type of copper treatment if it is warranted. I know this is not how all folks do it, but it has worked for me and I have (thankfully) never had to deal with Ich or Velvet. Also at this time of observation it gives opportunity to allow the fish to recoop from the stresses of shipment etc....If my fish show no signs of needing further medication and are fine after at least 3o days in the QT...they get my blessing and a prayer and into the DT they go. Others obviously have differing views on the QT period and treat straight away with one of the available copper type treatments or do a TTM method of treatment but I feel that I am not using copper unless it is obviously needed. I wish you the best of luck with your new fish! AND keep a very close eye on Ammonia levels in your QT tank...it will cause problems that only exacerbate anything else that could be going on.
