Good afternoon,
I started this tank with dry sand and dry pukani rock in mid December of 2017. The rock cycled until February and then I add it with the dry sand to a 90 gallon long with a 40 gallon sump. I also added a fuge that is 15% of the water volume.
I started dosing the triton core base elements a month ago and held a steady dkh a week before mailing in my test two weeks ago. The salt mix I use is reef crystals.
My parameters are right now are:
Salt 1.026
Temp 78
Kh 8
Ph 7.8 to 8 over the course of the day
Nitrate 1 ppm
I use 0 tds in my ato
Dose 5.2 ml of the four triton liquids a day
Sb reef ultra 45” led for lighting
Right now I have 15 fish and a mixed reef of zoas, lps, and sps frags. Cuc and four shrimp.
Triton is recommending I do six 15% water changes over six weeks and that I dose mg, k, I, ,mo, mn , ni, and zn.
My question is, should I hold off on dosing until after the six weeks of water changes or start dosing right away. Do I dose all at once or one at a time? What order do I dose the elements in?
Thanks for looking at my post.
