Hello. I’ve had these two for about 3 weeks now. I feed them twice a week and thought they were doing well. I just got home from work and noticed they look like this, are they dying? Thanks for any help.

I've tried it all, and my favorite method is to cover the aiptasia with a blob of superglue. Easy Peasy.

also you dont really need to feed zoas, as a new reefer id suggest not feeding its easy to over feed new tanks.

wonder if peroxide dip kills aptasia.
zoas i dip in a water/ 3% Hydrogen peroxide dip for 2 min. It kills off all algae growing on them and the frag plugs. Not sure if it kills aptasia though. Other corals i brush on hydrogen peroxide mic to kill the stuff on the frag plugs (if im using the plug they came with)

I used 100ml of 3% H2O2 to 1L of saltwater and dipped an aiptasia covered coral and they all jumped ship very quickly.

Interesting good to know lol. Iv been pretty dip happy.
coral RX dip and peroxide dip or scrub depending on coral

The ones closed up are closed up bc of the aiptasia. If possible, remove the frags and use super glue on the aiptasia, If these are your first visible aiptasia, then 100% remove the corals from the tank and put back in (not on rock), and repeat super glue process until all aiptasia are gone. If there is other parts of the tank then your best bet is just to find something that eats aiptasia like a peppermint shrimp or filefish.
