First water testing

Hello everyone...

Performed my first water test this afternoon, the tank has been up & running for approx. 48 hours with live rock & live sand. Here are my results:

Ammonia 0.25
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 5.0
PH 7.8

Do these numbers look OK for the beginning of the cycle? I would have thought the PH would/should be higher?

I'm not sure about the PH but it's a good sign that you're seeing ammonia
