Here are the charts of my Alk, Cal, and Mag on the first week with Neptune Trident. I have not calibrated yet as indicated by the manual after 48 hours of installation. I plan to do that tomorrow as many people waited longer than 48 hours to calibrated.

I noticed that my Calcium passed 500. What is causing this? I am not dosing any Alk or Cal. Only Red Sea AB+.

do you see anything of concern and abnormal?

I had this issue. I read on a separate forum here that it was an error in the trident sucking up reagent from either the blue or green bottles as they got empty, where the metal tube was sucking air and throwing off the amt of reagent the Trident thought it was using. This lead to a falsely elevated test.

I purchased a $25 set of 3d printed cones from @Brasileiro561 that solved the problem for me

Mine is brand new

You have enough samples go ahead and calibrate. There isn't anything abnormal as it is just collecting data. The calibration fluid is a "known" reference and it will run a couple of tests to compare and then Bob's your Uncle.

I believe the water change question was:

Did you do a water change after installing the trident and if so did it run a couple tests before the change and then a couple tests after? That could explain the dip.

In any case it is time to run through the calibration and let us know how that goes.

I've noticed ca and mg readings have an inverse trend, which I'm seeing on your chart as well. Have you tested ca with other tests?

IF YOU HAD TO TAKE A REEFING EXAM, WOULD YOU PASS?
