Hi guys and gals
Got my first little zoa frag the other day

Been in the very bottom
Of the tank for 2 days

It won’t open, is this normal?
I saw the tips peak out then went right back in at night

Now fully closed

120 gallon

8.1
400
1400

7.8 pH
0 no2
15 no3
79 degrees
.08 phosphates

Sometimes it takes a few days for them to open up. Have you checked for pests that might be bothering it?

I dipped it in both revive and coral RX before it went in so I’m assuming it’s mostly pest free as far as I can handle

Weird , pH is kinda low. Did you measure pH at night or in the morning before lights turn on?
If so, just let the zoas alone. It will probably get use to the system and open. I'm assuming everything else is ok and no predators / irritators.
