Adding new fish can definitely be tricky and sometimes you need to take a strategic approach when you're dealing with fish aggression. For example, today I added my Gem Tang back into my display that housed my conspicuous and true personifier angelfish for approx 1.5 weeks. My intention was to add the tang today and next week acclimate my scribbled and regal angelfish as my final additions.

However, this did not play out had I intended it too. Immediately after adding my tang, the conspicuous angel went for him with a vengeance. After several hours of witnessing this aggressive behavior I decided to add the remaining two angelfish to help reduce the aggression towards the tang and within minutes the conspicuous stopped singling him out and balance was restored.

Here is a video.
