Well my tomato clownfish have been mostly model citizens until today last night i added a blueside fairy wrasse into my DT had been in QT as soon as the lights came on today they started to harass and chase and nip the wrasse had him pinned into a corner even the male clownfish was being really aggressive luckily he was so frightened i caught him with the net like an hour ago rather easily so i put him back into the QT in the garage.

im wondering why they are acting like this towards the wrasse of all fish i have an acclimation box i can put him in and try to put him back into the DT what would you guys do? Would adding another wrasse with the blueside together relieve some of the aggression? i did have a yellow coris that i was goin to add with this blueside but he died in QT 10 days ago didn't ship well

Maybe net the clownfish and put them in QT and give the wrasse some time to familiarize himself with the tank and find places to hide ?
i would never be able to catch the clownfish they are just too fast its a 6 foot long tank too many places to hide lol

You could also try putting a long mirror on the front of the tank for a day or so until the new addition can get acclimated. Works extremely well.

time to break out ole faithful havent used this thing in over a year lol
